Prayer and Praise to God for November

Grace and peace and greetings from Pastor Praylow!

In Psalm 100:1, we are encouraged to render thanks to our God for God’s goodness and steadfast love towards us. As we journey towards the end of this year, let us also look back in gratitude for our blessings from God.  Throughout the current COVID-19 pandemic, much has changed as we have re-imagined community and the work of God’s church.

And yet, we have much for which we should be thankful! For the promise that God will never leave us nor forsake us, we are thankful! For the peace we find in Christ, we are thankful! For the joy we find in virtual worship and fellowship we are thankful! For God’s provisions, we are thankful!

Further, for resilience through Christ and for strength to adapt and to awaken to new possibilities, we are thankful. For God’s ability to turn around realities, including social, spiritual and economic outcomes, we are thankful! For endings and new beginnings, we are thankful! And for God’s faithfulness to us all, we give God praise!

In this season of Thanksgiving, let us look back in gratitude and let us look forward with hope!

Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
